IGNOU offers online MBA (Master of Business Administration in two academic sessions (January session and July session). Ignou has opened the online portal for MBA courses for the July academic session and the last date to enrol in Ignou online MBA admission ends on 15 July 2025. 

Applicants who want to enrol in IGNOU online MBA course should hold an undergraduate degree from a recognized board with minimum obtained 50% marks. Aspiring students can apply for admission directly through IGNOU official website. Primarily, all applicants are suggested to register online on IGNOU official website afterward they can apply for admission in Master of Business Administration. Students can access weekend counseling classes as well.  Applicants must fill their online application form by going to designated official portal @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and for online MBA visit ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

After submitting their application students are required to pay the registration fee for the IGNOU online Master of Business Administration course which is a total of Rs 300. Students are required to pay for the MBA online course fee along with registration fee as well. Various payment procedures are available in ignou, Students can pay their course fee and registration fee by using their NET banking, Debit cards, Credit cards and UPI payments ex- Paytm, BharatPay, Google pay etc.

Students who are applying for the IGNOU MBA program must have completed their bachelor;s degree from a recognized board. • Ignou hasn’t specified any age boundary to enrol in the Master of Business Administration program (MBA) in IGNOU. All students of all age categories are eligible to complete an online MBA program from IGNOU.

IGNOU Online MBA Admission Process

• Register yourself by submitting your required details on the university website. You must save your registered ID details and Password for the future purposes. As your Login ID (DEB-ID) will be submitted every time whenever you need to proceed further or have to make any necessary changes. 
• Students will receive their log-in credentials on their register mobile and registered email ID.
• After completing your registration process, Students are requested to re-log in to the university website. Now visit the admission portal, select the discipline course in which you want to pursue your Masters (MBA) and submit all required credentials in application form. 
• Students have to upload their academic qualification certificate and other mandatory documents  online.
• All documents should have been scanned and uploaded with accurate image quality. Your signature and recent photograph image size should be uploaded within 100 KB. Remaining documents can be uploaded within 200 KB.
• Image of your signature should be done by blue or black pen.
• Now complete the final step by submitting your course fee by using the same designated online portal of the university websit

• Scanned passport size photograph of student less than 100 KB.

Submitting your assignments before the deadline is mandatory for all students. Assignments carry 30% weightage out 100.  in total as your internal marks. Remaining marks students have to score as a typical written exam which is conducted by IGNOU for each semester in different exam centres.  Students are informed to take the assignment submission as a priority. After the end date of assignment or late submission won’t be accepted by IGNOU and it will be perceived as a student neglect which will cost you 30% deduction from your overall weightage. Students are obligated to complete the assignment within the deadline and submit their assignments by visiting IGNOU online portal or their study centre or regional centre for manual assignment submission.
