  • The last Date to apply for IGNOU MBA Admission is 30th June, 2025. If you are in the 2nd or 3rd semester of MBA, you have to re-register for the next semester. The re-registration fee is INR 300/-.
  • You have to pay a registration fee of INR 300/- along with the program fee at the time of admission. It is non-refundable.
  • IGNOU Term end examination of June 2025 term end examination will start from 12th June to 19th July, 2025. Students are waiting for Hall tickets to be released.

IGNOU MBA Finance

IGNOU offers Masters of Business Administration in Banking and Finance (MBF) under school of Management studies. The medium of the course is English. MBF is a minimum of 2 year course and it can be extended up to 4 years. The basic requirements for opting this course is that the candidate must have passed a bachelor degree which should be minimum of 3 years with at least 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for reserved category. Exams take place semester wise during this program. Admission for this course happens during the July and January Session. Interested candidates can apply for the course for the July session that is currently going on. The deadline for admission in the July session is 30th June, 2025. 

IGNOU MBA HR Admission 2025 

IGNOU admissions for Masters of Business Administration in Human Resource Management i.e. MBAHM  is going on and the deadline to apply for this course is 30th June, 2025. The basic qualification that IGNOU asks for to continue this course is that the applicant must have completed a bachelor’s degree which should be of minimum duration 3 years and minimum percentage of 50% marks for general category admissions and 45% for SC/ST category. The course is practised in English medium. Assessments happen in Semester wise pattern. The course is 2 years long and can be continued for 4 years also. Admissions will happen in the January and July session for this course. Interested students can apply for this course.

To apply for IGNOU MBA program for the 2025-26 session, you need to follow the steps below:

STEP 2: Go to website CLICK HERE FOR WEBSITE.  Click on New registration and create an id and password. Go back to the website and login with your id and password that you just created. 

STEP 3: Fill the admission form and upload the necessary documents.

STEP 5: Payment portal will open, complete the payment. You can pay through UPI/Debit/Credit Card.

Ans. As such there are no entrance exams in IGNOU Admission MBA. Earlier there was OPENMAT, a University level entrance exam, which was conducted by IGNOU for MBA and BBA programs. 

Q2. Is Distance MBA valid and do companies like Amazon take placements for distance or online MBA?

Ans. Yes, distance education is valid in India, only if it’s approved by UGC-DEB. Students who want to continue to opt for distance education, need to create a DEB id. Amazon hires post graduates from the online or distance MBA, if that course is approved by UCG-DEB.

Ans. The fees of MBA throughout the 2 years equals to around INR 64,000. Fees is paid mostly year wise and you re-register for the second year before the first year end sem examination.
