IGNOU Exam Form 2025: June Term End Examination is going to begin for all UG, PG and other courses. To appear in the exams, Students have to submit the exam form. IGNOU Exam Form Last Date 2025 for filling out was 4th May 2025. at the official Portal.
The term end examination will commence from 12th June till 19th July, 2025. If due to any chance a student has failed to register, they have to wait till the December session. Hall ticket will be out on the official website a week before the commencing of the exams.
IGNOU Announcement:
- The last date for ONLINE IGNOU Exam Form application for the end term examination of June 2025 was 4th May 2025, with the late fee. The registration started from 14th March without the late fee and was later reopened from 29th April to 4th May, 2025. The late registration fee was INR 1100/.
- Date sheet for the June 2025 session is out. The exams will start from 12th June to 19th July, 2025. They were earlier supposed to start from 2nd June and were postponed. You can download the date sheet from the announcements section on the ignou.ac.in .
- The final day to submit the assignments, projects, Internship reports is 31st May, 2025 for all ODL and online programmes. These can be submitted online on onlineproject.ignou.ac.in except the course code DECE04.
- The hall ticket is expected to be released a week before the commencement of the examination. The candidates are advised to visit the official website frequently for any updates.

Steps to fill the IGNOU Exam Form June 2025:
Exam form will be submitted through the student portal on samarth. If you already have an account on the samarth portal, you will need to register into the account with your id and password. If you don’t have an account, you will need to click on ‘New registration’. Submit the required information i.e. course, name as per student ID card and enrollment number and create the samarth id and password. Follow the instructions below to apply for exam form:
STEP 1: Sign in with your username and password on the samarth portal. Fill the captcha and press login.
STEP 2: On the samarth portal, go to Examination. A drop down menu will appear. Click on registration. Three options will appear on screen as follows:
- Click Here For Examination Form
- VIEW COURSE(S) ELIGIBILITY STATUS FOR EXAMINATION: Select session and it will show the list of courses you can apply for.
- SEARCH EXAM CENTRE: you can search for exam centres.
STEP 3: Click on Examination form. You will need to select the examination centre region, examination centre city and if a PwD candidate, select Applicable otherwise Not applicable.
STEP 4: Underneath will be a list of subjects that you will be eligible for to give examination. Tick the checkbox under action and click on Save and continue.
STEP 5: It will take you to a window where it will show the total fee. If correct click on Payment Gateway Exam and if you want to recheck, click on update course or Examination centre city.
STEP 6: After successfully completing the payment process, come back to the page and check the exam form status. It should show submitted and fee paid.
STEP 7: Download the acknowledgement slip.
Important Guidelines:
- The exam form should be filled with utmost care and precision. Fill the exam centre and select courses wisely as once the exam form is submitted, you cannot change it.
- In no case scenarios a student is allowed to write exams for two courses in one session until and unless mentioned.
- All the exams of a student will be held in the same exam centre. Exam centers are on a first come basis. In case your nearest exam centre is full, you may opt for a different exam centre according to your comfort.
- Assignments and projects, or dissertation, should be submitted before the deadline as required. The last date has been extended to 31st May, 2025. These can be submitted online. If you fail to submit the assignments, you would have to re-register in the next TEE.
- Once you fill the examination form, Students can check IGNOU Exam Form Status. Check the information carefully before proceeding to the payment, as payment once done will not be refunded.
- The student who has given the December 2024 term-end examination and is waiting for the result can apply for those particular courses after the declaration of results.
- Students have to create their ABC ID. Creation of ABC ID is mandatory by the Government of India. If not it might hinder the timely result announcement.

How to check the Payment Status of IGNOU Exam Form?
To check the status of your exam form and the payment you’ve made, follow the steps below:
STEP 1: Go to IGNOU:: Check payment status site, i.e. exams.ignou.ac.in.
STEP 2: Enter your enrollment number.
STEP 3: Your payment status will be visible.
*In case you’ve made the payment and your acknowledgement slip didn’t generate, wait for about an hour before making another payment. You can also check the status on the IGNOU Samarth portal by entering your date of birth and enrollment number.
IGNOU Term End Examination 2025
In IGNOU, term-end examinations are exams that are conducted at the end of every semester or year of a course for both open and distance learning and online programmes. Like any university, they are conducted twice a year after the semester is completed. These exams are conducted in two sessions, i.e. morning and evening sessions. These exams act as an assessment for a student to understand what they have learnt through the semester. They are generally conducted in June and December. The credits earned through the TEE are added successfully towards the course completion.
A student can choose the subjects while submitting Exam Form only once and cannot be altered. These occur in both pen & paper and CBT mode for online programme students, as per choice and for ODL TEE occurs only in pen & paper mode. Students are required to answer the questions in the language in which the programme is offered. There is an option that they can answer the questions in English of the Hindi medium courses, irrespective of the registration except the language programmes.
IGNOU Exam Hall ticket:
Hall ticket is necessary for giving the end-term examination. Entry without the hall ticket shall not be permitted. Hall ticket for the eligible students will be out on the university official website, i.e. www.ignou.ac.in. Generally, it is out one week prior to the commencement of the examination. Students are advised to check the official website regularly for updates on hall tickets.
Candidates should take the print out of the hall ticket and report to the examination centre at the time written on the hall ticket at the particular dates. The copy of the hall ticket will be enclosed only when the final assignments, internship projects, dissertation and projects are submitted. With the hall ticket, you have to take your university identity card as well. Entry shall not be permitted without both of these.
